Yes we went that route from Kalamata and it was wonderful. We stopped at a little Hansel and Gretel type taverna on a shady bend where we bought delicious honey. Is that the place you mean? Now in a pleasant campsite in Stoupa where we’re going to do a bit of walking in the hills – need to set out early
