A lovely campsite near Siena. On a hill the panoramic views over the beautiful Tuscan landscape are stunning. It’s a largish site with many terraces so somewhere for everyone, has lots of trees but best of all has a proper size swimming pool with a cafe/bar and restaurant. There is also an attractive village within walking distance.
Towards the end of July it will start to get very crowded but at the moment it’s perfect. It looks as though there may be some cycle routes and we’re planning to try those in the next couple of days.
everything looks blissfull and I’m well jealous. I’ve never been to italy, and am intrigued. We had a small heatwave here, over 30 degrees and everyone was flaking out. Its so different when youre not on holiday. ..So keep on trucking (vaning) and enjoying. xx J
Being in the hills in Tuscany is so beautiful and there’s a lovely breeze. Nights are cooler here than Greece so that makes sleeping better. Xx

Yes definitely add it to your list. We’ve also managed to do some yoga for the first time as there’s a lovely secluded shaded grassy spot. Now we’re going off on our bikes to see if we can find some wine as the really good shop in the village where we used to buy it has disappeared!
